11 SKIES in SKYCITY｜The government’s fiscal budget announcement will actively promote the development of 11 SKIES in Skycity. It is expected to open by the end of 2023, featuring eight world-class facilities making their debut, including a flying theatre and a Korean immersive multimedia art museum. It is destined to become one of the must-visit shopping hotspots!

The government announced the fiscal budget on February 22, revealing active promotion of the development of “Airport City”. It will also strongly promote the Chek Lap Kok SKYCITY, where “11 SKIES” will become Hong Kong’s largest one-stop entertainment and retail business landmark with a total floor area of 3.8 million square feet. It will introduce over 800 shops and offer more than a hundred dining concepts. The mall is expected to open by the end of 2023!

A Sneak Peek at 4 Amazing Attractions – Flying Cinema and Immersive Art Museum!

The most eye-catching project in the SKYCITY is undoubtedly the first appearance of Hong Kong’s 8 world-class entertainment facilities, which are themed around learning, exploration, adventure, and immersive experiences. They will be open to different age groups all day long. The official has already announced four of these facilities – let’s see how exciting they are!

1. The First 4DFlying Theater in Hong Kong.

The first 4D dynamic flight theater in Hong Kong, “Timeless Flight Hong Kong”, has a spherical screen up to 13 meters high. Through digital technology and borderless screens, it combines surround sound effects and stunning visual effects to create an immersive flying experience for the audience. The provided dynamic simulation seats can also move in six different angles. It is definitely not an ordinary cinema!

2.The Largest Immersive Multimedia Art Museum from South Korea

K11 will collaborate with d’strict, a pioneer in art and technology in South Korea, to introduce the largest immersive multimedia art museum in Korea, “ARTE MUSEUM.” With nature as the main theme, it combines advanced projection technology to create a multi-sensory experience. It presents various visual art scenes such as tropical rainforests and tidal fluctuations with lifelike realism. Participants will feel as if they are immersed in these scenes, making it a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts!

3. Paddington Indoor Family Entertainment Experience

Paddington Bear is a well-known children’s book character in the UK. 11 SKIES has established the first indoor parent-child entertainment experience zone with Paddington Bear as the theme, called Paddington Play Experience. It is suitable for children aged 4 to 12 to participate and explore and learn in the world of fairy tales with the company of Paddington Bear through interactive entertainment.

4.First KidZania in Greater China

KidZania Hong Kong offers children from toddlers to aged 14 an immersive and interactive role-play learning experience in a three-storey city. With around 50 occupational role-plays, children can explore various dream jobs and showcase their creativity. This unique experience at 11 SKIES is the first of its kind in Greater China and the Greater Bay Area, featuring traditional Hong Kong occupations.
